An outdoor team challenge in which strategy and dexterity play the main role: this is HFC ROPE CHALLENGE! Sol y Vida was the location chosen to celebrate this half-day team building activity: a non-profit organization based in the Collserola hills that surround Barcelona, with astonishing views of the seafront. In Sol y Vida, young people with Williams Syndrome grow vegetables for the partners that, like us, rent their allotments. The location, besides the allotments, has beautiful gardens and forests to organize events such as our Rope Work experience. Renting the space supports the beautiful cause of giving young people a chance to work in a protected, natural environment within a sustainable business chain.
After a general briefing in a secluded area with views in order to explain the activity, security guidelines and rules, the team of 30 people moved to the forest of Sol y Vida to build, in small teams, different rope constructions such as bridges and zip wires within the time given. The teams performed extremely well, and after the activity, we took them to the garden, where they got a constructive debrief. After a short outdoor corporative presentation, it was time for lunch: a delicious BBQ with views of the Mediterrenean. A beautiful day to bring a team together and strengthen relations while supporting a good cause. Thanks for your trust in HFC and your social engagement!
