Break colourful tiles and bring them together to create a unique and personalized mosaic: this is our most artsy team building experience U feel Gaudi!
The Trencadís was developed by Antoni Gaudí, father of the Catalan Modernism, turning it into his most characteristic technique. Some of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in Barcelona, like Sagrada Família or Casa Batlló, were his creations and include decorative elements made out of broken tiles.
Creativity, intra and inter-team communication, problem solving and collaboration were the key to success for this team of 25 people, that enjoyed some refreshing drinks and local tapas during the workshop under a fabulous summer evening.
Sitges, a traditional village with stunning views to the Mediterranean Sea and about 40 minutes away from Barcelona, was the location chosen for this art workshop. After a short brief on Gaudí and the Catalan Modernism to give meaning to the activity, we gave participants some instructions on security and activity phases. The group was then divided into 5 teams and each one had to complete a square that, together with the other 4, would represent the name of the company.
Participants completed their squares right on time and, after putting all parts together, they could finally celebrate the success of this team building challenge thanks to their collaborative team work with some ice-cold local white wine. Cheers!
