No rush. No hurries. Slow Barcelona is a whole-day team experience that invites participants to discover and enjoy Barcelona’s essence: its beautiful architecture, old charming streets, delicious food and iconic art. Ready to slow?
This fully customizable city tour began with a visit of Casa Amatller, a beautiful Modernist building designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch and located in one of the most beautiful streets of the city: Passeig de Gràcia. Designed as a residence for the Catalan chocolatier Antoni Amatller in 1900, Casa Amatller is today one of the best examples of Catalan Modernism in the city. At the end of the visit, the 23 participants could enjoy a cup of the delicious and traditional Amatller hot chocolate, served in the café of the house.
Next stop was El Gòtic: a historic neighbourhood of Barcelona’s city centre. Charming for its narrow, cobblestone old streets and impressive architectural treasures, El Gòtic is a perfect place for a long, quiet walk to admire the trace of time. With a tapas lunch in La Boqueria, a large public market built in 1840, we offered the participants some local gastronomic specialties.
In the afternoon and after a short and energizing walk, the group took part in a creative workshop in an exclusive spot of the city centre: Club Philippines. Following Antoni Gaudí’s technique of Trencadís and supported by our staff, the participants were challenged to design diverse and colourful motifs with broken tiles.
A full day of experiences, flavours and new good memories. Thanks for your trust and see you again soon!
