Steam punk circus: after some discussions and brainstorming at our office in Barcelona we decided to go for this powerful theme for Schibsted’s annual Christmas party. We understood their needs and offered a project they found fascinating from the beginning.
Around 1.000 guests enjoyed a celebration full of light, itinerant performances and powerful teambuilding activities in one single venue. The goal was to create a lasting experience for participants, a corporate event with high-quality staging, actors, musicians and food. We wanted to make every of these elements special: the famous percussionist Santi Carcasona rocked the stage with his team of drummers; delicious finger food was not served, but offered to participants with mechanical machines such as big wheels that perfectly fitted the party topic: a huge, crazy circus full of lights and surprises; professional circus actors played the whole night long their juggling, trapeze artists flew over the dancing crowd over and over again; ‘Los 80 Principales’ played covers of famous rock classics and two popular DJ’s from Madrid (Dj Pepino & Crawford) were specially flown to Barcelona to cheer up the last hours of this fantastic party.
Participants went back home late at night wishing the magic of the steam punk circus would never disappear. And was exactly our main goal: understanding the clients’ needs and once aligned, making a difference by striving towards excellence and by working with the best professionals in their field to make the event a huge success and a lasting experience.
