After two hard weeks of trainings, this road cycling team wanted to enjoy the last day of their stay in Catalonia: a mix of adventure and city discovery in Barcelona, good local food and a comfortable accommodation in the old city centre. We designed a flow to fulfil the wishes of this team of 31 members from Norway.
In the morning, we designed an U discovery in Barcelona’s Collserola Park, the green lung of the city. In the park and divided into three teams, we challenged the young participants to find their path following a route book and supported by a member of our staff. Along the route, they had to overcome different creative challenges related with the spot and the surroundings.
After the activity, we walked with the team to the lunch location: a traditional restaurant withing the natural park, where they could enjoy the Catalan cuisine with beautiful views in an exclusive dining room. After the coffee, a bus was waiting for the group to drive us to Plaça Catalunya, the famous square in the city centre. A member of our staff was waiting for them with the iPads to carry on the next team experience: iPad race by HFC. Our geolocalized urban rally gave the team the chance to discover Barcelona while overcoming funny challenges in some of the city’s most beautiful spots.
After taking them to the hotel, where they found their suitcases on each room, and after one hour to relax and freshen-up, we walked across the city centre, under the Christmas lights, to find our dinner spot: a modern tapas restaurant very close to Plaça Reial where, after dinner, they could celebrate the last night of an intense training program.
